TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701 Pay Information $2,092 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - Stepdown Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with at least some of the specified drips and comfort with the specified patient acuity and ratios Job Description: - Compliance with radius rules: Must reside 75 miles or more from the facility. - Care for patients on continuous BiPAP. - Manage stabilized vented patients through tracheostomy. - Administer vasoactive drips such as Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Cardizem, Insulin, Labetalol, Cardene, Nitro, and Tikosyn. - Maintain care ratios of 1:3 or 1:4. - Handle patients on high-flow oxygen greater than 50%. - Manage conditions such as DKA, STEMI post-ICU, dysrhythmias, fluid resuscitation, diuresis, and NSTEMI if chest pain is resolving and hemodynamically stable. - Provide care for post pacemaker/defibrillator patients. - Ensure proficiency in the MEDITECH 6.1 charting system. - Cohesively work within a 10-bed unit. - Participate in a cancellation policy of 12 hours every 2 weeks. - Completion of 16 hours of orientation. 27213625EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Embrace the nomadic lifestyle with pride, celebrating the uniqueness and diversity of each assignment.
