Danfoss Turbocor Global Supply Chain, is seeking a Cost Down
Project Manager to join our cross-functional teams. You will
initiate projects from idea generation to final implementation of
sourcing strategies within the Turbocor Business. We seek a
professional with a proven track record in sourcing and project
management, demonstrating continuous improvements in project
execution and cross-functional teamwork within an international
environment.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Cost Down Project Manager, you
will be pivotal in organizing, leading, and motivating your project
teams. Your responsibilities include:--- Identify Cost-Saving
Opportunities: Analyze current processes, materials, and systems to
identify areas where costs can be reduced without compromising
quality.--- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute
cost reduction strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals.--- Project Management: Lead and manage cost
reduction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely
delivery and adherence to budget.--- Collaboration: Work closely
with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering,
finance, and operations, to implement cost-saving measures.---
Monitor Progress: Track and report on the progress of cost
reduction initiatives, providing regular updates to senior
management.--- Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers and
vendors to secure better pricing and terms.--- Risk Management:
Identify potential risks associated with cost reduction initiatives
and develop mitigation strategies.--- Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing
and refining cost reduction processes.Background & SkillsEducation
and/or Experienceo Degree in business, technology, project
management, or other related field combined with at least 5-7 years
of experience in project management, engineering, procurement,
operations, or technologyo Sourcing or procurement experience in
the field of Automotive, Medical, or Industrial products is a must
(electrical components experience is a plus)o Strong negotiation
skillso Ability to work with international teams in a global matrix
organizationThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:--- Strong
facilitation skills, fostering teamwork and a cross-functional
mindset, ideally with Agile/Scrum methodologies--- Confidence in
communicating with customers, management, and stakeholders
regarding progress, risks, and key deliverables.--- Proficient with
Microsoft Office, MS Project, and SAP--- Fluency in English, both
